About the plant

• Fruity scented perennial herb with dark green leaves and mauve flowers with beautiful scent and taste of berries and mint.
• The leaves can be dried or frozen; it can also be frozen in ice-cubes for use.
• Popular for its unique scent and flavour; the aromatic berries scented sprigs and leaves are used for flavouring and garnishing.
• Harvest when needed, chopped leaves used in sauces and drizzles for desserts; sprigs as garnish for desserts, salads and cocktails; steep leaves in boiling water for a cup of refreshing tea or mix with chilled soda water for a tasty summer drink.
• Reasonably fast growing and can be invasive so is recommended to grow in good size pot.
