• Not frost tolerant, but cold tolerant than many other orchid species.
• Thriving under indirect sunlight, they make the perfect addition to any outdoor landscape, absorbing just the right amount of morning sun to truly flourish.
  
• They need indirect light and do well outdoors but not under completely full shade as Cymbidium needs to get enough light to flower. Morning sun is perfect for Cymbidiums as afternoon sun may be too hot. Likes bright filtered sunlight, find a good spot with indirect sunlight as too direct sunlight can scorch its leaves. During cooler winter months, they can be moved to a location with full sun. With sufficient light, the leaves should appear apple green as opposed to dark green.
• Cymbidium likes moist soil but ensure that the soil is not dry or excessively wet.
