About the plant

• A perennial plant, popular dense groundcovers which also acts a natural weed barrier, known for their attractive foliage and flowers. This genus is part of the mint family, Lamiaceae.
• They thrive in full sun to shade, but many varieties prefer shade. They can grow up to a height of 1 inch to 6 inches and each plant spreads to a width of 6 and 8 inches.
• Ajuga spreads through stolons. It is advisable to plant them in pots and containers and rockeries. Also makes a nice base plant - adds character to another potted plant.
• Drought tolerant, fast growing and super easy maintenance.
• Produces little bright blue pink purple and white flowers depending on the variety in spring and summer.
