Australia Post has deferred the introduction of new mandatory recipient contact requirements until 2027.

When these requirements come into effect, parcels sent within Australia, including to Parcel Lockers, will require the recipient to provide at least one valid contact detail:

• 📧 A valid email address, or
• 📱 An Australian mobile phone number

Australia Post uses these details to contact recipients with important information about parcel delivery and collection.

What this means for you:
We encourage customers to provide a valid email address or Australian mobile number when placing an order. This will help ensure a smooth delivery experience and prepare for the new Australia Post requirements when they become mandatory.
