15 mins to start feeling the heat using dampened cloth to wipe before use; about half hour without. Each individual is different. Thin, discreet and easy to wear around the knees underneath normal trousers.
The heat radiates penetrates the knee joints and relieves the nagging pain. I used it occasionally when I have knee pain. Fits snuggly around my knee (can fit girth size up to 44cm on upper knee).
