About the plant

• Ctenanthe Burle-Marxii ‘Amagris’ is a compact unique and fascinating stripy fishbone patterned houseplant. Its leaves are more silvery green and the underside of leaves often purple-red with an unusual habit of folding up its leaves during night time, thus its nickname ‘Fishbone Prayer Plant’
• Considered a slow and low growing houseplant which makes it an ideal container houseplant.
• Loves bright indoor location but can tolerate low light; outdoors they prefer shady spot as direct sun can scorch their leaves.
• They prefer humid environment; misting the plant daily will make this plant a happy plant.
• Though it can tolerate wide temperature range, it still needs to avoid direct scorching heat and freezing temperature.
• Similar to most bathroom plants such as Peace Lily, English Ivy, Pothos, ZZ plant, Spider plants, Snake plants also absorbs moisture from the air.
• Non-toxic and safe for pets and dogs.
